Did our 1995 Taurus come with three keys and a remote?

Our 1995 doors wont open with the the ignition key or the trunk key. My husband thinks the car came with three keys: door, ignition, and trunk, which I think was not the case. Normally we use the keypad, but we took out a fuse, and now have locked ourselves out of the car, and worse, out of the "under the hood" space where we could re-connect the fuse.

it probably came with 2 remotes 2 ignition keys and 2 door keys. I don't think they have one specifically for the trunk. Try calling a locksmith to see if they can make a key for the door with the vin number!

It should have come with 2 remotes, 2 ignition/door keys , and two trunk keys

As someone stated, the ignition switches on those cars are changed out and if not done with a Ford key set and having the keys that came with the set cut for the door afterwards, you will have a car with a need for three keys.. one door, one trunk, one ignition

Looks like you will have to have AAA or Pop a lock or one of the other locksmiths who specialize in cars to come and unlock your car..... the police could unlock it for you but they are starting to charge now also

i have a 95 Taurus the same key that starts it also unlocks the door it sounds like some one at one time must of change the ignition key. that's why it doesn't unlock the door
