make a metal rod 1/8 in size ,then bend it like a fish hook,,
the idea is so you could pull the cover out by pulling it out with the hook from the vent corner,,note make sure the hook is wide enough so you would not pull the vent alone..and the end of the hook is touching only the back cover,,
some radio doesn't need to remove the cover,,just buy the radio pullout tools, they are cheap,

The radio surround..
There are four holes in the front that have spring loaded catches the two lower ones have to be released at the same time, and the upper ones at the same time.....
Ford has a special tool for this in a u-shape, never tried it but you might be able to make one from a coat hanger.....

If you try to make on out of a coat hanger you have to grind little balls on the end to sit into the clips, go to a parts store there $15,don't push them into far or you will really be in trouble

most ford radios have two sets of holes, one on each side. to take out the radio you need a set of "ford keys", which can be bought at wal-mart. best buy curcit city , ect. for a couple bucks.

Fords are undesirable for leaks in that section . ought to be considered one of four issues. First it ought to be the water pump that's complicated to show pin you are able to need a small reflect to be certain around the ac compressor and bracket. if it is the water pump do the timing cover gasket on the same time in case you do no longer it is going to leak quickly and you will finally end up do the water pump lower back. (water pump sits on ideal of the timing cover) next it ought to be the timing cover. same as water pump complicated to pin element . consistent with risk greater handy to do away with the flexibility guidance pump and ac bracket to pin element . As with the water pump if the canopy is leaking replace the pump additionally. next it ought to be the intake gaskets .look to the place the gasket and the heads meet for coolant lines. final it ought to be the top gasket leaking . sure all and sundry of those issues will leak on the same spot . consistent with risk appropriate to have a save positioned tracer dye in the coolant to locate whats leaking . sturdy success wish I helped.
