Noticed on the lower right corner of the display panel this message, "O/O off". Don't have an owner's manual, so haven't a clue what that message means. Would appreciate finding out what my pick up is trying to tell me, so I can take care of it, if it needs repairing. After I turned of the truck and then turned it back on, the message did not come back.

Overdrive is off means that the top gear in the transmission has been locked out, and you're not getting the best possible fuel mileage. There SHOULD be a button inside the end of the shift lever OR a switch on the dash board that you can push to turn the overdrive on and off. Leave it ON for all "normal" driving.

OverDrive is off - you may have a button that takes the trans out of overdrive for towing/hauling etc that was accidently pushed - go to Ford.com you should be able to download a pdf of the owner manual (pdf is great because it is easily searchable).

The OD on/off switch is at the end of the gear shift knob.
