The Caterpillar 797B dump truck is currently the largest in the world. Used primarily in open pit mining, the 797B has a load capacity of 380 tonnes. It is powered by a 117.1 Litre turbocharged diesel engine making 3,550 horsepower. The 797B is 21.5 feet tall, 28 feet wide and 47.7 feet long. It has an empty operating weight of approximately 278 tonnes.
Each tire is thirteen feet tall and weigh four tonnes each. They need to be replaced after approximately 35,000 miles; at a cost of $25,000.00 a piece.

actually, though not commonly referred to as a truck, the vehicle that carries the Space Shuttle is probably the largest truck. It moves only 1 mile per hour top speed.
