Sure you can.. if you have the money you could put any motor you want into the f 150. Now if you want to know if the motor will fit without any problems.... well you didn't ask that question.

i'm not a Ford Tech yet i'm a FSR for Strykers, quite i'm a expert mechanic. I additionally very own a three.7l F150 2wd mine is prolonged cab not 4 door. I stay in El Paso that's 4000 ft up and this concerns. i'm uncertain of your elevation yet my Jetta TDI lost 5 mpg from seattle to right here and my crown Vic did besides. My F150 has averaged 16mpg on the city for lots of the time I even have owned it. I even have owned it purely in El Paso so I anticipate it may get extra at decrease elevation. I took it on a 600 mile trip and that i've got been given 22 mpg with it comprehensive of human beings and camping out kit. i replaced into inspired considering at decrease elevation this could advance. I had a mattress disguise on the trip too. I put in a ok&N air filter out only 3 days in the past and function monitored my MPG and that i'm now averaging 18.5 on the city. 2.5 extra desirable than i replaced into getting. i'm thinking lowering the truck some inches to help with gasoline mileage yet I even have not yet. I do have FX wheels and tires on mine rather of the inventory tires. those are wider than my inventory ones have been.

The major problem is that the 93 engine is OBD 1 and and the 2000 engine is OBD 2. It is possible, but it isn't practical.

It would be easier for you to put the 2000 engine in the 93 truck, but even then you would have to redo all of the sensors and the exhaust system.

No; not for less than $10K

Cheapest route is to purchase a rebuilt 4.3 for a 2000 F150.
