It would not due to the fact that it is a different car and tempos/topaz's have a tranny that fits in em kinda funny...you have to turn it a certain way. Best bet would be to go used. Of course try to get one with low mileage if possible

W/ enough money, time,& tools you can Frankestein anything together.(but bring help & pack a lunch on this one)I suggest you find a tranny more appropraite to the vehichle the junk yards are full of 90's cars a decent used tranny should be easy to find & fairly inexpensive.
