Ford Fiesta 1997/1998 R Reg Locking HELP?

Question

Does the Fiesta 1997/1998 R Reg have central locking?
Mine doesnt lock all the door so i dont know if its broken or not?
Its the 1.8D but not turbo.

which model is your car, the encore and early lx's didnt have central locking.

best bet, ask at a dealership, or.. when you lock the door, does it also lock the boot? or make a whirring sound? if it does then yes it had central locking, if not, then no. but feel free to ask at a ford dealership, it'll take them seconds to find out and its free if you say you think there might be something wrong with the locks and could someone spare a second to have a quick look. :)

it could be that one of the centrall locking catch is sticking ,as you lock doors the locks start to open and lock for a few times until it stays unlocked, as if sumthing is jammed ,,, remove the door card and lubricate the inner lock mechanism.

check your model against specs in haynes manual
